Having been a national level swimmer during her childhood, Katherine entered her first triathlon in 2012 in search of some variety away from the pool and was instantly hooked. After racing in several ITU and ETU championships, she transitioned to longer distances as this suited her strengths.
Whilst working as a Doctor in London, it can be a difficult combining longer training sessions with night shifts and weekends on-call, but Katherine is a determined personality, likes challenges and nothing is impossible for her.
Swimming is Kathrine’s strength but with the help of her coach Rafal 2018 was a breakthrough year with also bike and run abilities showing in races: Age Group wins in 70.3 and Ironman distances (Ironman Busselton), overall winner of Challenge Almere Middle Distance race. Katherine raced Ironman World Championship in Hawaii in 2018 finishing 9th in her division. We are looking forward to a strong 2019 season.
