We are proud to introduce Semira Bontognali to the Trisutto family as our resident assistant coach based in St. Moritz.
Semira has been a familiar face on swim deck and at run sessions for many athletes who have visited St. Moritz over the past 2 years. After completing the Trisutto coaching certification, she has been taking on a coaching apprenticeship, first learning the protocols of the Trisutto coaching system, whilst also developing the St. Moritz Home of Triathlon junior program.
Her progression over the last 12 months has seen her develop into an excellent coach, and promotion to an assistant coach role with our international professional squad. I believe Semira is now one of the most competent coaches in Switzerland.
Semira's coach education is also part of a larger plan for the triathlon community in Switzerland. St Moritz is not just a winter skiing destination but a great getaway in the summer. She will provide training options for triathletes visiting the area who want a formal training experience while on vacation. This also includes assisting Trisutto and the St Moritz tourism board to develop winter indoor training facilities (turbo, treadmill, pool) so avid skiers can continue their triathlon training while visiting the area.
Semira is available for private coaching to Swiss athletes of all ages and ability levels. We are proud to have her on board as a fully trained Trisutto coach.
