There has been a lot of great feedback, but none better than from the Olympic Bronze Medal winner himself – Jan Rehula. In the article I thank Jan for not only stimulating my use of the treadmill, but for being a willing partner in testing and developing theories of treadmill use that we still use to this day.
Thanks Trisutto.com for the mention, I’d like to add something. Variable incline disperses the landing impact forces so they do not accumulate in one spot of the tibia thus eliminating the risks of overuse injuries. Secondly, it is very beneficial to complement your treadmill runs with a real surface Warm Up and Cool Down including a few strides to get the kinetic chain right and body position into the forward lean. Enjoy the Sport! Jan Rehula
